Fort Lauderdale’s Best Beaches

It’s often the small things that bring us joy, despite the many outdoor and indoor attractions in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You can plan your next family vacation, business trip or move to Fort Lauderdale. Make sure you pack your swimsuit and sunscreen.

Deerfield Beach

Deerfield Beach can be found in northern Broward County, just south from Boca Raton. It is known for its relaxed and casual atmosphere. You can either watch the fishermen catch native fish on the International Fishing Pier or rent a fishing rod. For unique, Insta-worthy sunset photos, bring your phone as you walk along the pier.

Deerfield’s beachside restaurants are a great place to take a break from the sunbathing. The famous whale fries can be enjoyed at The Whale’s Rib. JB’s on the Beach or Oceans 234 offer seafood-loving guests a warm and inviting atmosphere that allows them to enjoy the stunning views of the ocean.

Pompano Beach

Pompano Beach is located towards the south end of Fort Lauderdale. It’s a paradise for divers and adrenaline junkies. Shipwreck Park is a well-known attraction at Pompano Beach. It is home to 18 shipwrecks, each one as mysterious and unique as the last. Chartering a boat is a great way to explore Pompano’s open water.

Pompano Beach offers family-friendly amenities such as a playground, interactive water foundation, volleyball courts, and a lifeguard on duty. Beach House Pompano is a bar and restaurant on two floors that’s famous for its wood-fired grills and scratch-made food.

Hollywood Beach

Hollywood, California is not to be confused with Fort Lauderdale’s Hollywood Beach. It is known for its 2.5-mile Oceanfront Boardwalk. Hollywood Beach also has chic beachside hotels such as the Diplomat Resort and Spa and Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Hotel.

Don’t forget Hollywood’s dog beach if you’re on vacation with your pet friend. For a fun night out, stop by Billy’s Stone Crab restaurant to enjoy the famous stone crab claws.

Fort Lauderdale Beach

Fort Lauderdale Beach offers something for everyone. The main beach is located just over a mile from the city’s Las Olas Boulevard. It features many lodging options, top-end restaurants, and lively bars. You can enjoy the beautiful views from the beach by taking a walk down the Beachfront Promenade. Don’t forget Fort Lauderdale’s restaurants and bars. Steak 954 can be found at the W, while the Ritz’s Burlock Coast has a wonderful brunch.

Book a SUP PUP Paddleboard Tour, learn how to surf at Hang Loose Surf School or take a Beach Ventures Seabob Rental & Tours paddleboard rental.
